Job Description

Job Summary:

Import Export Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Handle
end-to-end Import and Export operations
including shipping documentation, freight forwarding, and customs clearance.
Coordinate with
shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHA (Customs House Agents)
and transporters for timely movement of cargo.
Prepare and verify all
import-export documentation
(Invoices, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Shipping Instructions, LC Documents, etc.).
Ensure compliance with
international trade regulations, export-import policies, and documentation requirements
.
Track and monitor shipments, resolve delays, and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
Manage and negotiate with shipping lines and freight forwarders to ensure
cost efficiency and timely deliveries
.
Maintain proper records of all shipments, documents, and communications for audits and future reference.
Liaise with suppliers, buyers, and internal teams for smooth shipment execution.
Stay updated with
latest EXIM regulations, INCOTERMS, and international trade practices
.

Key Requirements:

Minimum
4 years of hands-on experience
in Import & Export operations, freight forwarding, and shipping documentation.
Strong knowledge of
INCOTERMS, LC, customs procedures, international freight, and logistics management
.
Proficiency in handling
end-to-end documentation
and operations for both imports and exports.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
