Job Description

As an Export Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing international sales and logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing export strategies to expand the company's presence in international markets. - Identifying new business opportunities and nurturing relationships with overseas clients, distributors, and partners. - Coordinating with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure efficient order processing and shipment. - Ensuring compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and documentation requirements. - Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with international buyers and shipping agents. - Managing export documentation such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin. - Monitoring shipment schedules and addressing any issues related to delays, damages, or customs clearance. - Conducting market research to identify global trends, competitor activities, and potential risks. - Managing budgets for international sales and logistics operations. - Providing regular reports on export activities, performance metrics, and market insights to senior management. Qualifications & Skills required for this role include: - A Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). - Proven experience (minimum 3-7 years) in export management, international sales, or global logistics. - Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. - Proficiency in export documentation and ERP systems. - Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of foreign languages is an added advantage.
