As an Export Manager, your role will involve overseeing international sales and logistics operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing export strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring compliance with international trade laws. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing export strategies to expand the company's presence in international markets. - Identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with overseas clients, distributors, and partners. - Coordinating with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely order processing and shipment. - Ensuring compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and documentation requirements. - Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with international buyers and shipping agents. - Preparing and managing export documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.). - Monitoring shipment schedules and resolving any issues related to delays, damages, or customs clearance. - Conducting market research to identify global trends, competitor activities, and potential risks. - Managing budgets for international sales and logistics operations. - Providing regular reports on export activities, performance metrics, and market insights to senior management. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). You should also have at least 3-7 years of proven experience in export management, international sales, or global logistics. Additionally, you should possess strong knowledge of international trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential, along with proficiency in export documentation and ERP systems. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office, and knowledge of foreign languages will be advantageous.
