Job Summary:

Responsible for managing and supporting the RADIUS server, AAA (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) services, and integration with CRM/BSS systems.

The candidate will handle user authentication issues, monitor service logs, perform troubleshooting for broadband and enterprise customers, and coordinate with the L2/L3 teams for resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain Radius environments.

Perform daily health checks on RADIUS services and ensure high availability.

Troubleshoot authentication, accounting, and access issues for broadband users.

Analyze logs and identify issues related to PPPoE, DHCP, or MAC authentication.

Coordinate with CRM/BSS or NMS teams for integration-related issues.

Create and manage user accounts, profiles, and policy configurations.

Generate and validate accounting reports (session, data usage, disconnection logs).

Work closely with network and database teams for issue diagnosis.

Participate in on-call support for high-priority issues.

Document RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for recurring incidents.

Technical Skills Required:

Hands-on experience with Radius or equivalent systems.

Good knowledge of AAA protocols (RADIUS, TACACS+).

Understanding of network fundamentals — IP, VLANs, PPPoE, DHCP, DNS.Familiarity with Linux environments for service management.

Knowledge of MySQL used as RADIUS backend.

Exposure to Mikrotik, Juniper, or Cisco NAS devices for RADIUS integration.

Basic understanding of shell scripting or automation for monitoring/log cleanup.

Familiarity with tools like Grafana or Prometheus for monitoring.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Good written and verbal communication.

Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (CRM, Billing, NOC).

Willingness to work in rotational shifts if required.

Education:

B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics or Electronics & Communication Industry certifications (CCNA, Linux+, or equivalent) are an advantage.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
