Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Management: 
- Define and manage project scope, objectives, and timelines for data engineering and Looker-based analytics projects. 
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and contingency plans. 
- Monitor and track project progress to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards. 
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively to ensure optimal delivery. 
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: 
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting requirements. 
- Work closely with data engineering teams to design and implement robust data pipelines. 
- Partner with business intelligence teams to ensure Looker dashboards and reports meet business needs. 
- Coordinate with technical teams to resolve issues, address risks, and maintain project timelines. 
3. Looker & Data Engineering Strategy: 
- Drive the adoption of Looker as the primary business intelligence tool, ensuring smooth integration with data sources. 
- Guide the development of Looker dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to empower business users with actionable insights. 
- Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines for consistent, reliable, and high-quality data. 
- Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of data solutions in alignment with best practices. 
4. Stakeholder Communication: 
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and key stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues. 
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners regarding project status and outcomes. 
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure projects meet quality standards before launch. 
5. Continuous Improvement: 
- Identify areas for process improvement, propose solutions, and lead the implementation of changes to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. 
- Encourage the use of best practices, methodologies, and tools for data management and reporting. 
6. Risk & Issue Management: 
- Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies. 
- Lead problem-solving efforts to overcome technical and operational challenges. 
Qualifications:
-  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. 
-  experience managing data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence projects. 
-  Proven experience with Looker implementation and management, including dashboard creation, data modeling, and integration. 
-  Strong background in data engineering, with experience in building and managing data pipelines (e.g., ETL processes, data warehousing, etc.). 
-  Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
-  Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
-  Familiarity with data architecture, data governance, and data security best practices. 
-  Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project). 
-  Knowledge of SQL, data warehousing concepts, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus. 
-  Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) are a plus. 
Preferred Skills:
-  Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies. 
-  Familiarity with data modeling techniques and data visualization best practices. 
-  Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery). 
-  Experience with other analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
