Position Overview

As an Independent Financial Distributor, you will play a key role in driving and scaling our IFA (Independent Financial Advisor) network. You will work closely with IFAs to grow assets under management (AUM), enable them with strong product knowledge, and ensure they deliver business excellence under the Axis Securities umbrella. Your efforts will impact both our reach and reputation in the market.

Role & responsibilities

• Source and onboard new IFAs to achieve and exceed assigned AUM targets working across the West Zone, especially in Mumbai and Pune
• Manage smooth onboarding processes including formalizing referral agreements and registration
• Conduct regular, scheduled field visits to IFAs to ensure they are fully trained on all Axis products and processes
• Provide ongoing hand-holding for newer IFAs so they gain confidence and speed in driving business with Axis Securities Ltd.
• Train IFAs not only on Axis-owned offerings (Equity, Margin Trading Facility, etc.) but also enable crossselling of thirdparty products such as Portfolio Management Services (PMS), NCDs, debt instruments, etc.
• Maintain, grow, and manage the existing franchisee/IFA network within your designated territory.
• Distribute a broad spectrum of financial products, including but not limited to PMS, unlisted shares, debt instruments, SLBM (Securities Lending & Borrowing Mechanism), equity, margin trading facility (MTF), NCDs, and mutual funds

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree; Postgraduate degree in any discipline is a plus
• NISM certification preferred (or equivalent regulatory credentials in financial markets)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skillsconfident, persuasive, and high energy
• Demonstrable experience in a similar roleideally dealing with IFAs / distributor channels / franchisee networks
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales / AUM targets
• Good understanding of financial products: equities, debt, mutual funds, PMS etc.
