This role combines deep FPA domain expertise with cutting-edge technology capabilities to reimagine traditional finance processes and deliver measurable business outcomes.
What are we looking for 8-12 years of experience in finance operations with at least 5 years focused on FPA processes (planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis)3+ years of management consulting project leadership experienceProven track record of leading technology-enabled finance initiativesAt least one finance initiative leveraging Large Language Models / Gen AIAdvanced proficiency in one or more EPM platforms (Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, OneStream, Oracle PBCS, SAP BPC)Strong data analytics capabilities using tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or R for financial modeling and visualizationExperience with AI/ML applications in finance including predictive analytics, automated forecasting, and intelligent process automationDatabase and data management knowledge including SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processesStrategic thinking with ability to translate business strategy into actionable FPA process improvementsExceptional communication skills for presenting complex financial and technical concepts to diverse audiencesExperience managing multiple workstreams and stakeholder groupsMBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldProfessional certifications (CPA, CFA) preferredExperience across multiple industries (manufacturing, technology, healthcare, retail, financial services)Prior experience with Gen AI applications in finance and business process automation

Roles and Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end FPA projects from vision development through implementation, managing complex stakeholder ecosystems across client organizationsDrive client conversations and presentations at C-suite and senior finance leadership levels to articulate value propositions and secure buy-inManage and ensure delivery excellence within time and budget constraintsDesign and implement innovative FPA solutions that leverage technology to automate processes, enhance analytics capabilities, and improve decision-making speed and accuracyCoordinate cross-functional collaboration between finance, technology, and business teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of new processesApply deep subject matter expertise in core FPA processes including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting to design optimal future-state solutionsLeverage advanced analytics and AI/ML technologies to build predictive models, scenario planning capabilities, and intelligent forecasting systems that transform traditional FPA approachesConduct comprehensive process assessments to identify automation opportunities and design optimal technology-enabled workflows that reduce manual effort while improving accuracyTranslate complex financial concepts into technical requirements and vice versa, serving as the bridge between finance and technology teamsHelp build data-driven FPA platforms using modern technologies (cloud-based EPM systems, data visualization tools, robotic process automation) to create scalable, real-time financial insightsSupport pursuit activities by developing compelling demonstrations of FPA capabilities and participating in client pitchesContribute to RFP responses with technical solution design, project estimates, and implementation approaches for FPA modernization opportunitiesDrive innovation initiatives by staying current with emerging FPA technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory changes that impact financial planning processesMentor junior team members and contribute to the development of the firm s FPA capabilities and methodologiesMaintain strong client relationships through exceptional delivery quality and proactive identification of additional value-creation opportunities
