Key Responsibilities : Transaction Execution: - Assist in the execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other corporate finance transactions. - Prepare financial models, valuations (DCF, precedent transaction, comparable companies), and other analytical frameworks. - Conduct industry and company-specific research to support due diligence and strategic decision-making. - Prepare marketing materials, including pitch books, presentations, and client reports. - Support senior bankers in negotiations, deal structuring, and documentation. Client Interaction & Relationship Management: - Assist in managing relationships with clients, investors, legal teams, and other advisors. - Participate in client meetings and presentations, helping to build and maintain strong client relationships. Financial Analysis & Modelling: - Develop and update financial models for valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis. - Perform comprehensive financial analysis to support transaction structuring and negotiation. Market & Industry Research: - Monitor market trends, industry performance, and competitor landscape to inform strategic recommendations. - Conduct detailed due diligence, gathering data on target companies, industries, and market conditions. Team Collaboration: - Work closely with senior bankers and other team members to drive the execution of transactions. - Assist in mentoring junior analysts and interns, providing guidance and feedback on their work. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CFA is a plus). Experience: 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields, with a focus on transaction execution. - Strong experience in financial modelling, valuation, and financial statement analysis. - Knowledge of M&A processes, capital markets, and transaction documentation. Skills: - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling software. - Strong understanding of accounting, financial statements, and corporate finance principles. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. - Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
