Job Description

Role Description

  • Provisioning & Deprovisioning:
    • Manually provision and deprovision user accounts in multiple enterprise systems based on approved access requests.
    • Validate each request against approval records to ensure compliance with company policies.
    • Assign access precisely as requested, maintaining strict adherence to security and compliance protocols.
  • Workflow & Process Adherence:
    • Execute tasks following pre-defined workflows for access management across various applications.
    • Accurately document actions and updates in IT service management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.
  • Incident & Problem Management:
    • Support resolution of access-related incidents, particularly those caused by automation failures.
    • Conduct initial root cause analysis on provisioning errors and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams.
    • Assist in identifying and implementing preventive measures to reduce recurring failures.
  • Reporting & Communication:
    • Contribute to regular reporting on provisioning activity, including metrics like volume, SLA performance, and failure trends.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all provisioning activities for audit and compliance purposes.
    • Engage with access requestors to resolve issues, obtain missing information, or clarify ambiguous requests.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with manual user provisioning and deprovisioning in enterprise systems.
  • Proficiency with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.
  • Basic working knowledge of:
    • Active Directory (AD)
    • LDAP
    • Enterprise access management systems
  • Understanding of incident management processes and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently under strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and follow standardized procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for interacting with internal stakeholders and documenting activities.
