A Hydraulic Power Units (HPU) Design Engineer designs, develops, and implements hydraulic systems, ensuring they meet project specifications, budgets, and timelines. Their role involves creating designs, analysing systems, selecting components, and collaborating with other teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
Creating detailed hydraulic system designs, including HPUs & LPUs, Energy efficient Intelligent & Regenerative Designs, using CAD software and producing schematics.
Closed & Open Loop System, Electronics and Sensors Integration for Efficient Controls:
Based on application and requirements of automation and control of the system, components and systems integration along with other Engineering Areas need involvement and successful implementation of the customer requirements.
System Analysis:
Conducting hydraulic static & dynamic analyses to optimize performance, meet pressure and flow requirements, overall system efficiency and ensure safety and quality.
Component Selection:
Selecting appropriate hydraulic components, fittings, and materials based on design specifications and costing considerations.
Calculation and Sizing:
Performing detailed calculations for flow, pressure, and sizing of hydraulic components.
Collaboration and Communication:
Working with other engineers (civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics, instrumentation, controls),
suppliers, and stakeholders to develop integrated solutions and manage project progress.
Documentation:
Preparing detailed engineering reports, proposals, presentations, and costing sheets.
Technical Support:
Providing technical guidance to junior engineers and sales teams.
Troubleshooting and Improvement:

Identifying and resolving design issues, improving existing designs, and evaluating product modifications.
Cost Reduction:
Participating in cost reduction initiatives and ensuring projects are within budget. Skills and Knowledge:
Hydraulic Systems: Deep understanding of hydraulic principles, fluid mechanics, and fluid power technology.
CAD Software: Proficiency in using CAD software for 2D and 3D design (e.g., SolidWorks, HydroSym).
Engineering Calculations: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to perform hydraulic calculations and design optimization.
Component Selection: Knowledge of various hydraulic components, fittings, and materials.
Project Management: Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualification : DME / B.Tech (Mechanical)
Age : 30 to 45
Experience : 8 to 15 years
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
