HVAC Technician

Key Responsibilities 1. Operation & Maintenance of HVAC SystemsPerform daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, pumps, blowers, VRF systems, ductable AC units, and split ACs. Conduct routine inspections to ensure efficient performance and minimize downtime. Maintain records of HVAC parameters, logbooks, and maintenance checklists. 2. HVAC InstallationAssist in installation, commissioning, and testing of new HVAC equipment. Support ducting work, piping, insulation, and electrical connections as per standards. Coordinate with vendors for installation-related activities. 3. Repair & TroubleshootingDiagnose and rectify faults in HVAC systems and components such as compressors, motors, control panels, sensors, VFDs, and pumps. Perform corrective maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operations. Replace defective parts and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. 4. Preventive MaintenanceCarry out scheduled preventive maintenance of all HVAC equipment. Ensure upkeep of chiller plant, AHUs, VRF systems, ductable ACs, and other HVAC machinery. Maintain PM reports and share timely updates with the Infrastructure Manager. 5. Safety & Compliance Follow all safety protocols while working on electrical and mechanical systems. Ensure adherence to company maintenance procedures and quality standards. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycle, and mechanical/electrical components. Ability to read HVAC drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals. Hands-on experience with chillers, AHUs, VRF/VRV units, pumps, blowers, and ductable AC systems. Troubleshooting skills and ability to work under minimal supervision. Good communication and reporting skills. Qualification & Experience ITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) or HVAC. 3–5 years of experience in HVAC operation, installation, and maintenance (chiller plant experience preferred).
