Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing HVAC systems for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) including ductwork, piping, and equipment selection.

· Prepare detailed HVAC layout drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.

· Perform load calculations using software such as HAP, Trace 700, or similar tools. (Optional)

· Ensure designs meet local and international codes (ASHRAE, ISHREA etc.).

· Coordinate with inhouse architects, structural, electrical, and plumbing designers to ensure integrated designs.

· Coordinate with HVAC OEMs to ensure design with updated product features.

· Support HPE Business & Project Delivery teams through all phases: Solution preparation, Costing analysis, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.

· Review submittals, RFIs, and perform site visits as needed.

· Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) and technical specifications.

· Stay up to date with industry standards, sustainability practices, and emerging HVAC technologies.

Qualifications:

· Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

· 8+ years of experience in HVAC design

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC design software (HAP, Trace 700, etc.).

· Solid understanding of HVAC codes, standards, and system types.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

· LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable HVAC design.

· Experience with BIM processes and tools.

· Knowledge of energy modelling and life cycle cost analysis.

Work Environment:

· Office-based with occasional site visits.

· May require extended hours during project deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
