Human Resources Generalist

As the Manager - Plant HR & Admin at Vasai Valiv, Mumbai, your role will be crucial in overseeing human resources and administrative functions to ensure smooth plant operations. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in recruitment, performance management, safety implementations, and facility administration. Your dynamic leadership will be key in maintaining workplace safety, efficiency, and cordial labor relations. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Recruitment & Staffing:** - Oversee recruitment for both white-collar staff and labor to ensure timely staffing. - Develop effective talent acquisition and retention strategies. - **Performance Management:** - Design and implement a robust performance appraisal system for white-collar staff. - **Safety & Security:** - Develop and monitor safety and security policies. - Ensure compliance with safety standards for a safe working environment. - **Administrative Management:** - Manage day-to-day administrative functions including facility upkeep. - Ensure plant infrastructure supports uninterrupted production operations. - **Time Discipline & Labor Relations:** - Enforce time discipline and monitor attendance. - Cultivate harmonious relations between labor and staff. - **Policy Implementation & Compliance:** - Ensure adherence to company policies, labor laws, and regulatory guidelines. - Regularly review and update policies to reflect industry best practices. - **Documentation & Reporting:** - Maintain detailed records of HR and administrative activities. - Prepare reports on staffing, performance, safety, and facility management. **Qualifications Required:** - In-depth understanding of HR management and plant-level administration in a manufacturing environment. - Experience in recruiting, performance management, and labor relations within electrical manufacturing or related sectors. - Strong knowledge of safety, security protocols, and facility management. - Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and regulatory compliance. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
