About This Role

As an HR Executive at Benne, you will support and strengthen our people operations across Mumbai outlets and the central team. From managing day-to-day HR activities to ensuring seamless employee experiences, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our culture of care, fairness, and continuous improvement. This role combines administration, coordination, and people engagement to ensure every team member feels valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end HR operations including attendance, documentation, onboarding, and employee records
• Coordinate with outlet managers and department heads on staffing, scheduling, and manpower requirements
• Support recruitment efforts by screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and managing walk-ins
• Conduct structured, warm onboarding for new employees and ensure timely joining formalities
• Handle employee queries, grievances, and concerns with empathy and clarity
• Maintain HR systems: update data, track leave and attendance, and ensure policy compliance
• Assist in payroll inputs, confirmation cycles, appraisals, and HR audits
• Organise employee engagement activities to strengthen culture and retention
• Support HR policies, training initiatives, and process improvements
• Ensure all people practices reflect Benne's values of fairness, respect, and inclusivity

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field
• 13 years of experience in HR operations/executive roles; hospitality or retail experience is a plus
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-outlet environments
• High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity
• Passionate about people, processes, and building a positive workplace experience
