Job Description

1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for factory, technical, staff, and managerial roles
  • Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning and hiring forecasts
  • Manage job postings, interviews, offer roll-out, and onboarding
  • Maintain recruitment metrics (TAT, cost per hire, attrition trends)

2. HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage employee lifecycle: joining, confirmation, transfers, exits
  • Maintain employee records, personal files, and HR documentation
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and internal procedures
  • Handle employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary processes

3. Statutory Compliance & Payroll Coordination

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements:
    • PF, ESI, PT, Factory Act, Shops & Establishment (as applicable)
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors / accounts team for salary processing
  • Manage attendance, leave, overtime, and shift records
  • Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government departments

4. Performance Management & Appraisals

  • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems
  • Coordinate goal setting, reviews, and annual increments
  • Support department heads in performance improvement plans (PIP)

5. Training & Employee Development

  • Identify training needs for factory and office staff
  • Coordinate skill development, safety training, and induction programs
  • Support leadership in building a performance-driven culture

6. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and communication
  • Handle workforce discipline, motivation, and retention strategies
  • Support management in building a positive and ethical work culture

7. Policy & Process Development

  • Draft, update, and implement HR policies and SOPs
  • Support certifications and audits (ISO, ZED, etc.) from HR perspective
  • Ensure HR systems are scalable with company growth

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of HR experience, preferably in

    manufacturing / factory setup

  • Hands-on experience in recruitment, compliance, and HR operations
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle blue-collar and white-collar workforce
  • Comfortable working closely with promoters and senior management
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and HR reporting
