Job Description

Job Summary

The HR will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes within the organization, ensuring compliance with defense industry regulations, security protocols, and workforce standards. This role focuses on talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and training programs tailored to a highly secure and technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives and defense compliance requirements.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for technical, security-cleared, and administrative positions.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws, defense contracts labor standards (DLSA), and internal security protocols.
  • Oversee performance management systems and employee development programs.
  • Manage employee onboarding, background verification, and security clearance documentation.
  • Drive organizational culture initiatives, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
  • Maintain HR records, payroll coordination, and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.).
  • Liaise with government bodies and ensure compliance with defense procurement and manpower regulations.
  • Provide HR metrics and insights to management for workforce planning and decision-making.
  • Lead disciplinary and grievance handling in a fair and confidential manner.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7–10 years of minimum HR experience, including at least 3 years in defense, aerospace, or high-security sectors.
  • Deep understanding of labor laws, defense compliance frameworks, and security clearance procedures.
  • Experience with HRMS software and data-driven HR operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Ability to manage multi-location operations and coordinate with defense project teams.

Working Conditions

  • Office-based with periodic site visits to manufacturing or defense project locations.
  • May require security clearance and background checks per defense regulations.
