Location: Ahmedabad

Position: HR Generalist

Experience: 6-9 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a Fintech, BFSI, or technology driven company.

Broad Responsibilities:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our fast-growing Fintech team. The ideal candidate will manage the full spectrum of HR activities from recruitment and onboarding to

employee engagement, performance management, learning & development, payroll coordination, analytics, and exit formalities.

Youll work closely with business leaders to drive a high-performance culture and support strategic HR initiatives that strengthen our innovative, people-first environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or masters degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on expertise in end-to-end recruitment, HRIS, payroll coordination, and performance management.

• Strong working knowledge of MS Oice and Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards, data analysis).

• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR Tools such as Zwayam and Zoho People.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to multitask and work eectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Selection

• Collaborate with functional heads for workforce planning and new/replacement hiring.

• Draft, update, and maintain job descriptions for IT & Non-IT roles.

• Manage end-to-end recruitment using platforms like LinkedIn, Shine, Indeed, referrals, and consultants.

• Screen and shortlist candidates, conduct preliminary HR interviews, and coordinate technical rounds.

• Handle oer rollouts, salary negotiations, and onboarding through HRMS/ATS tools (Zwayam, Zoho).

• Drive campus hiring and internship programs across departments.

• Maintain recruitment reports candidate pipelines, open positions, and hiring status.

2. Employee Engagement & Experience

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns and queries.

• Design and implement engagement initiatives to foster collaboration and inclusion.

• Support culture-building programs and internal communication activities.

3. Performance Management

• Collaborate with department heads to define KRAs and maintain the KRA repository.

• Facilitate quarterly performance reviews and one-on-one discussions.

• Identify performance improvement areas and create follow-up action plans.

• Collate and analyse PMS data for annual appraisals and final reviews.

• Manage internship review and feedback processes.

4. Learning & Development

• Identify skill gaps based on PMS data and department discussions.

• Develop annual L&D plans in collaboration with functional leaders.

• Source relevant training programs, coordinate logistics, nominations, and feedback.

5. Compensation & Benefits

• Assist in payroll inputs including attendance validation, overtime, arrears, and exit entries.

• Oversee intern payroll and related compliance activities.

• Coordinate with finance for accurate and timely payroll processing.

6. HR Data & Analytics

• Maintain accurate HR data in HRIS systems.

• Generate regular and ad-hoc HR reports for leadership review.

• Use Advanced Excel for data analysis, dashboards, and HR metrics reporting.

7. Exit Formalities

• Conduct exit discussions, handle Zoho exit formalities and clearance, and ensure smooth full & final settlements.

• Schedule and document exit interviews to capture actionable insights for retention improvement.
