Position- Content Writer (Banking and Finance Industry) Job Description Communicate effectively with the team to understand project briefs, target audiences, and objectives. Draft high-quality, well-researched banking or finance related blog posts, marketing materials, and social media content that can provide value to our readers while keeping them engaged. Translate complex financial topics into accessible, interactive, bite size content that encourages engagement within our network of banking/finance/fintech professionals. Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to create informative content that resonates with our target audience. Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, grammar, a smooth flow and consistent brand image. Ensure the content produced is optimized for search engines. Undertake multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Experience: Degree in English, marketing, finance, journalism or a related field. Experience in copywriting, content writing and creative writing, ideally in the domains of banking/ finance or fintech. Minimum 2 years' writing experience, ideally with some published articles in your portfolio. Strong research skills combined with a good understanding of various kinds of financial services, banking industry trends and fintech ecosystem. Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail. Adequate SEO knowledge to be able to draft search engine optimized content.
