Position Summary

The HR Generalist will support and execute end-to-end HR activities across the employee lifecycle with a strong focus on employee engagement, employee relations, learning & development, managerial support, and HR governance. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, understanding of Indian labor norms, and the ability to lead conversations with empathy and authority.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Plan and execute annual engagement calendar aligned to Indian festivals, CSR norms and corporate values.
  • Analyze pulse survey results and implement targeted interventions.
  • Promote inclusion and well-being programs suited to diverse Indian workforce needs.

Employee Relations & Difficult Conversations

  • Handle grievances, conflict resolution, behaviour /disciplinary issues, and performance discussions.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws when dealing with disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct documented conversations, counselling sessions, and corrective action discussions.

Learning & Development

  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) with managers.
  • Coordinate internal/external training as per skill building required in Indian regulatory, cultural, and functional contexts.
  • Monitor effectiveness, maintain LMS records, and publish training dashboards.

Manager Support & HR Advisory

  • Guide managers during performance reviews, PIP cycles, behaviour issues, and employee experience challenges.
  • Support workforce planning, onboarding, and exit management.

Employee Connect

  • Drive continuous connect programs such as skip-levels, stay interviews, floor walks, and new-joiner assimilation.
  • Identify themes and risks and recommend employee experience improvements.
  • Strengthen communication rollouts for policy changes, updates, or organizational initiatives.

Qualification and Key Skills

  • Masters degree in HR or related field.
  • 4+ Years of relevant HR Generalist experience.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, Indian labour norms, and employee experience practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint and HR Dashboards.
