Job Description

Employee Records Management:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee files and databases.
  • Ensuring confidentiality of sensitive HR information.
  • Processing and updating employee data, including employment status, contact information, and benefits.

Recruitment Support:

  • Assisting with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinating with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Preparing employment offers and contracts.

On boarding and Employee Relations:

  • Organizing and conducting new employee orientation programs.
  • Assisting with on boarding tasks, such as preparing paperwork and setting up new employee accounts.
  • Answering employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

Payroll and Benefits Administration:

  • Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring accuracy.
  • Answering employee questions about payroll and benefits.
  • Assisting with benefits enrolment and administration.

Administrative Support:

  • Providing general administrative support to the HR department, such as scheduling meetings, answering phones, and managing email correspondence.
  • Preparing reports and presentations.
  • Maintaining office supplies and equipment.

Compliance:

  • Ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate records for audits and compliance purposes.
  • Understanding of Labour Laws

HR & Admin Assistant Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or another relevant field, Master’s degree will be added advantage
  • Previous experience working as an HR Assistant for at least 2 years
  • Strong interpersonal and administrative skills
  • Extensive experience with HR functions and payroll practices
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • Solid ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent proficiency in business and communication tools
  • Perfect fluency in spoken and written English
  • Should have experience of HRMS payroll software’s like GreytHR, Zoho etc.
