Job Description

Role & responsibilities- Payroll Management (Primary Responsibility): Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees. Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data accuracy. Handle salary revisions, bonuses, and other compensations. Coordinate with finance and operations teams for disbursement of salaries. Ensure statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.) are accurately calculated and deposited. Prepare and file monthly/quarterly/annual payroll statutory returns (e.g., PF, ESI, PT, Form 16). Attendance & Leave Management: Monitor attendance and leave records using HRMS or manual systems. Coordinate with outlet/store managers for accurate attendance data. Address discrepancies in attendance and leave. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure payroll practices comply with labor laws and internal policies. Maintain up-to-date employee records including contracts, KYC documents, etc. Assist in audits related to payroll and statutory compliance. General HR Support: Assist in onboarding and exit formalities. Support employee queries related to salary, tax, and benefits. Generate HR reports and MIS related to payroll, attrition, etc. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in HR, Commerce, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in HR with a strong payroll focus, preferably in the food, hospitality, or retail sector. Working knowledge of payroll software and HRMS tools. Sound understanding of Indian labor laws, taxation, and statutory compliance. Strong MS Excel skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and confidentiality.
