Job Description

Job Summary:

Assistant Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
Support the month-end and year-end close processes
Coordinate with internal teams and clients for financial data and clarifications
Maintain general ledger entries and reconcile bank statements
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
Help in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Assist in internal and external audits
Generate MIS reports for senior management
Maintain accurate financial documentation and filing systems
Support the Account Manager in day-to-day financial operations

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
Excellent Excel and MS Office skills
Strong analytical and numerical abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
High attention to detail and organizational skills

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field (B.Com, M.Com, MBA in Finance preferred)
Professional certification (CA-Inter, CMA, etc.) is a plus
