Role Overview: Hub Manager – PTL Operations

As a Hub Manager, you will be the operational anchor of your assigned location, responsible for managing the full spectrum of PTL activities. You will lead a team, drive throughput, enforce SLA benchmarks, and ensure seamless coordination across surface, rail, and air modes. This is a leadership role demanding strategic foresight, hands-on execution, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage PTL hub operations with high throughput and SLA adherence

Oversee multimodal logistics: Surface, Train, and Air cargo handling

Plan and optimize routes, manage co-loader relationships, and handle ODA consignments

Supervise fleet operations including owned and attached vehicles

Lead, train, and motivate hub teams to achieve performance targets

Ensure rigorous documentation, compliance, and escalation protocols

Collaborate with central planning, vendor management, and customer service teams

Monitor cost-to-serve metrics and drive continuous operational improvements

Candidate Profile

2-8 years of proven experience in PTL hub operations

Demonstrated ability to manage logistics hubs independently

Deep understanding of routing, co-loader ecosystems, and ODA dynamics

Strong command of English, Hindi, and local language (spoken and written)

Self-starter with a proactive mindset and collaborative leadership style

Graduate or MBA 

Familiarity with fleet operations and transport documentation standards

Tech-savvy with exposure to TMS/MIS platforms and dashboard reporting
