HR Specialist

About the Role

The HR Specialist provides administrative support to all areas of the employee lifecycle, this includes onboarding, employee changes such as promotions, employee communications and offboarding.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new starter, separation and employee change processes, and ensure all steps are taken in the required time frame.
• Maintenance of Job descriptions for the organisation.
• Prepare and distribute Employee Agreements.
• Create and maintain Employee records and update HRIS.
• Completion of onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Work with payroll team to ensure employees are paid on time and accurately each month.
• Prepare documentation relating to employee changes such as promotions.
• Provide support in compensation, benefits and engagement activities.
• Provide administrative and helpdesk support for HR systems and queries

Experience and Qualifications

• Significant experience supporting an HR team in a corporate environment.
• Proven ability to work with confidential information.
• Attention to detail and ability to use initiative, a self-starter able to work autonomously.
• Excellent Microsoft office skills/ knowledge of HRIS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with high work ethic.
