HR Manager

You will be responsible for ensuring smooth onboarding, induction, and exit processes at the plant. This includes maintaining and updating employee records in HRIS systems. Additionally, you will be required to maintain harmonious employee relations with both unionized and non-unionized workforce, handling grievances, disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, and IR issues proactively. As part of your responsibilities, you will liaise with local authorities, the labour department, and compliance consultants. It is essential to ensure adherence to all applicable labour laws such as the Factories Act, CLRA, ESI, PF, Gratuity, etc. You will also be responsible for the timely submission of statutory returns and maintenance of registers, as well as conducting internal audits and coordinating external labour law inspections. You will play a key role in coordinating training need identification (TNI) and executing the training calendar for staff and workmen. Supporting in cascading KRAs/KPIs to plant teams, coordinating performance review cycles, feedback sessions, and performance improvement plans (PIPs) will also be part of your duties. Furthermore, you will be involved in planning manpower requirements in coordination with functional heads, facilitating recruitment drives for staff, operators, and contract workers, and managing contractor workforce deployment and compliance. Collaboration with the Safety and Admin departments to implement safety standards and welfare measures, participation in safety committee meetings, accident investigations, and EHS audits will also be expected.
