Position Summary:
BPM s HR Consulting team is seeking a skilled, hands-on HR Generalist to provide tactical HR support to a diverse portfolio of clients. This role works collaboratively with our HR consultants and sometimes directly with clients to deliver high-quality HR services that advance their people, compliance, and organizational goals. The ideal candidate brings strong HR operational expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate multiple client environments with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Support BPM s HR Consulting team in delivering HR solutions to clients across various industries.
- Provide day-to-day HR assistance such as onboarding, performance management, benefits administration and coordination, and policy implementation.
- Partner with consultants to manage client requests, entries into HRMS, electronic documentation, and communications, ensuring timely and accurate follow-through.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Prepare materials, reports, and data analyses to support client projects, audits, or HR strategy presentations.
- Assist with HRIS updates, data accuracy, and process improvements for client systems.
- Conduct research on HR best practices and legislative updates to support consulting engagements.
- Occasionally meet with clients and consultants virtually to discuss HR project needs or ongoing support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR generalist or HR business partner experience, preferably in a consulting or client-service environment.
- Strong understanding of core HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, and compliance.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Smart sheets a plus.
- High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to manage multiple priorities across client accounts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a consultative and service-oriented mindset.
- Prior experience working in a consulting environment a huge plus.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification a plus.
