HR Generalist

As an HR Generalist at Ball, you will play a crucial role in the continuous improvement of the plant's HR function, supporting the team and acting as an HR manager in the absence of the HR manager. Your responsibilities will include: - Complying with all legal requirements related to environment and safety - Assisting HR Manager in developing strategies and negotiating with unions for wages, benefits, and working conditions - Ensuring effective implementation of the organization's HR strategy and compliance with relevant regulations and employment standards - Communicating and administering Employee Engagement programs - Monitoring and ensuring statutory compliance with various industrial laws, including labor laws - Negotiating with labor contractors, discussing terms of work, cost, and statutory compliance - Dealing with local bodies such as Police, Local village bodies, and resolving local people issues - Coordinating a variety of HR programs to meet current and future human resource requirements - Coordinating recruitment and selection processes, from sourcing and screening resumes to arranging interviews - Maintaining up-to-date records related to various training programs and ensuring timely submission of MIS to HR Manager - Coordinating event management activities Qualifications required for this role include: - Degree in any discipline with additional qualification in HR management - 2-4 years of job-related experience as an HR Generalist in a Manufacturing Organization or similar environment - Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or any HRMS is mandatory - Knowledge of related central/state/local laws and regulations - Fluent English proficiency Please note that Ball Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer, welcoming applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
