Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTON FOR SENIOR EXECUTIVE-HUMAN RESOURCES

RESPONSIBILITIES:

HUMAN RESOURCES:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process

  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization

  • Nurture a positive working environment

  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

  • Oversee the coordination and implementation of annual performance reviews • Work with senior management to resolve employee relations issues rationally

  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management and develop HR policies and procedures

INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS:

  • Assist in Registration and Licencing Process under Factories Act, Contract Labour (R & A) Act, Consent under Water & Air Act, Hazardous Waste Clearance etc.

  • Payroll processing along with Time Office & Leave Management

  • Monitoring of Canteen, Security and Contract Labours activities in consultation with all the Stakeholders

  • Co-ordination with the union for Wage Negotiation, Wage Survey and prepare necessary information, data, PPTs, Minutes of the Meeting etc.

  • Handling of day-to-day Employee Grievance Handling & Redressal in consultation with your reporting authority

  • Assisting in Employee Disciplinary Action and represent the Management in Domestic Enquiry Process, gathering & preparation of details, data, interaction and arrangement of witnesses.

  • Co-ordination with our Advocates and assisting them with all the required data, documents and arrangement of witnesses to the Court and tracking of Court Cases

  • Submission of Periodical Statutory Compliance, Maintenance returns, reports and registers under Factories Act, ESI Act, EPF Act, Contract Labour (R & A) Act, Payment of Bonus Act, Apprentices Act, Profession Tax Act, Water & Air Act etc.

  • Updation of Competency Mapping and Skill Matrix in respect of all the employees, including shopfloor workers

  • Assist in preparation of HRMIS, HR Budget, comparative statements etc.


  • QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:

  • MSW/MBA or PGDPM & IR with 1-4 years of experience in HR, IR & Admin in a manufacturing set-up

  • MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Advanced MS Excel, V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, Mail Merge, Conditional Formatting, Short Keys etc.

  • Proven working experience as HR Executive or HR Assistant

  • People oriented and results driven

  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics

  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases

  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
