Senior Engineer - QA In process/FI - Lead

Role & responsibilities Oversee the quality inspection function. Plan, develop, and lead quality resources to deliver parts with quality. Thorough knowledge & understanding of AS 9100 standards & requirements. Experience of handling shop floor QA in CNC machine shop will be an added advantage Leads root cause and corrective action analyses (RCCA) and failure investigations in production areas. Actively lead MRB and Quality support in inspection on the production floor. Coach, teach, and mentor personnel in use of RCCA. knowledge of GD&T, PPAP, CAPA and 8D. Establishes and maintains compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications, and customer requirements. Ensures compliance through establishment and execution of internal audits. Establish and implement a process to determine root cause and corrective action for quality system escapes. Lead and coordinate the development of standardized internal quality metrics to ensure the health of the Quality Management System. Lead and develop Business Unit capabilities for developing and presenting quality data for the management review process. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a technical field At least 5-6 years of related experience within a CNC machine shop environment. Excellent oral and written communication, data analysis and problem-solving skills. Ability to successfully engage on the shop floor to provide solutions and coach and mentor others in the use of quality principles and practices. Ability to establish and maintain comprehensive quality management systems Demonstrated problems solving skills in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal oversight and in a multi-discipline team environment, providing insight and solutions to complicated technical issues. Strong interpersonal skills and able to work and lead effectively in a team setting.
