Role & responsibilities Oversee the quality inspection function. Plan, develop, and lead quality resources to deliver parts with quality. Thorough knowledge & understanding of AS 9100 standards & requirements. Experience of handling shop floor QA in CNC machine shop will be an added advantage Leads root cause and corrective action analyses (RCCA) and failure investigations in production areas. Actively lead MRB and Quality support in inspection on the production floor. Coach, teach, and mentor personnel in use of RCCA. knowledge of GD&T, PPAP, CAPA and 8D. Establishes and maintains compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications, and customer requirements. Ensures compliance through establishment and execution of internal audits. Establish and implement a process to determine root cause and corrective action for quality system escapes. Lead and coordinate the development of standardized internal quality metrics to ensure the health of the Quality Management System. Lead and develop Business Unit capabilities for developing and presenting quality data for the management review process. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a technical field At least 5-6 years of related experience within a CNC machine shop environment. Excellent oral and written communication, data analysis and problem-solving skills. Ability to successfully engage on the shop floor to provide solutions and coach and mentor others in the use of quality principles and practices. Ability to establish and maintain comprehensive quality management systems Demonstrated problems solving skills in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal oversight and in a multi-discipline team environment, providing insight and solutions to complicated technical issues. Strong interpersonal skills and able to work and lead effectively in a team setting.

Job Overview TE Connectivity seeks a dynamic and experienced Mixed Signal ASIC/IC Functional Safety Engineer & Manager to join the Sensor Global Quality Engineering Center within its TE Sensors Quality Organization. This role focuses on ensuring the compliance to Functional Safety requirements of sensor products from project definition to production release for Automotive and Industrial & Transportation (ICT) markets. This role will engage with various Engineering Centers of Expertise and manufacturing plant globally. It is a strategic role to support TE Sensor Technology roadmap based in our growing Global Design Center Bangalore India. KEY RESPONSBILITIES: Functional Safety for New Technology Development: Ensure that functional safety requirements are met from project definition to production launch according to TE stage gate procedure. Provide guidance to project stakeholders to adhere to ISO26262 standards Negotiate and mutually agree on required safety goals with customers (DAI) Contribute to the development of technical safety Concepts per ISO26262. Deliver Functional safety Work Products as per ISO26262 such as Safety Plan, HARA, FSR/C, TSR/C, FMEDA at hardware level (IP block/Gate). Review gate exits and release Functional Safety documentation (Safety Case) to enable production launch Customer & Leadership Engagement: Ensure efficient communication with customers and leadership team on functional safety related topics Anticipate and manage escalations effectively.
