Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a technical field At least 5-6 years of related experience within a CNC machine shop environment. Ability to successfully engage on the shop floor to provide solutions and coach and mentor others in the use of quality principles and practices. Ability to establish and maintain comprehensive quality management systems Demonstrated problems solving skills in a manufacturing environment. CMM Operator Key Responsibilities: 1. Inspection and Measurement: Perform dimensional inspections using CMM equipment as per specifications and engineering drawings. Interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and CAD models for measurement requirements. Measure complex geometries to ensure part conformity and precision. 2. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma At least 3-4 years of related experience within a CMM Machine operating & inspection. Proficiency in CMM software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Poly works). Strong knowledge of GD&T and the ability to interpret engineering drawings. Hands-on experience with CMM equipment and inspection tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Analytical and problem-solving skills to address inspection and quality issues. Attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and reporting. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies or processes.
