Please find blow Job Description – Housekeeping Supervisor Job Description – Housekeeping Supervisor Position: Housekeeping Supervisor Department: Operations / Facility Management Location: Mumbai Central / Western / Harbour line Reporting To: Cluster Manager 1. Role Overview The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising the housekeeping team, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance standards of the store/outlet/office area. The role ensures smooth daily operations and trains staff for quality service, safety, and compliance. 2. Key Responsibilities A. Daily Operations Supervise and monitor housekeeping staff activities and ensure assigned areas are cleaned as per standards. Conduct routine inspections of washrooms, dining area, kitchen, lobby, storage rooms, and surrounding premises. Maintain cleanliness schedules and checklists. B. Staff Supervision & Training Prepare daily duty rosters and assign tasks to the housekeeping team. Train new and existing staff on cleaning techniques, chemical usage, safety norms, and equipment handling. Monitor staff punctuality, grooming, and discipline. C. Hygiene & Safety Ensure compliance with hygiene standards as per FSSAI/safety guidelines (if applicable). Maintain proper usage and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Report any safety hazards or repair needs to the concerned department. D. Inventory & Documentation Maintain stock of cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials. Raise requisitions and follow up for replenishment. Ensure all checklists, registers, and reports are updated daily. E. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and admin teams for smooth workflow. Handle customer/staff complaints related to cleanliness and take corrective action. Assist management during inspections, audits, and special events. 3. Required Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of housekeeping operations, chemicals, equipment, and standards. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle pressure during peak hours. Attention to detail and problem-solving ability 4. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 12th / Graduation preferred. 2–4 years of housekeeping experience; at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Experience in QSR/restaurant/hotel/hospitality/retail preferred. 5. Work Conditions Rotational shifts, weekend/holiday working as per business needs. Must be physically fit to supervise and assist housekeeping activities when required.
