Hotel manager

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the overall operations of Hotel Om Residency, Kushinagar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, smooth daily operations, and profitable growth of the hotel. This role requires a strong leader with proven hospitality management skills, financial acumen, and the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and guest relations.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve guest concerns promptly.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve occupancy rates, revenue, and profitability.
• Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost efficiency.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff while maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
• Coordinate with travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate clients, particularly in Buddhist tourism.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
• Monitor service quality, hygiene, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare operational and financial reports for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in hotels or hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS, POS) and financial planning.
• Fluency in English required; Hindi and East Asian languages (Japanese, Chinese, Korean) are a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours during peak seasons.
