Hostess

A hostess primarily welcomes and seats guests, manages the reservation system, handles phone calls and customer inquiries, and maintains a clean and organized front-of-house area. Key duties include providing accurate wait times, assigning tables to servers, helping other staff during busy periods, and ensuring a positive first impression for customers through excellent service and communication. Key Responsibilities

• Guest Interaction: Greets customers as they enter, provides accurate wait times, and escorts them to their tables or the waiting area.
• Reservations & Seating: Manages the reservation book and waiting list, ensuring fair table distribution among servers.
• Communication: Answers phone calls and responds to customer inquiries, relaying information between guests and staff.
• Restaurant Operations: Helps maintain a clean and organized front-of-house and dining area.
• Support: Assists waitstaff with tasks like taking drink orders or helping with opening/closing duties during rushes.
• Menu Knowledge: Learns the food and beverage menus to answer guest questions and provide information.
• Customer Service: Addresses guest needs, such as providing items for children, and handles complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Flexibility: Availability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic Knowledge: Understanding of restaurant procedures and menu items is beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
