Job Title: Shift Operator/Shift Engineer – 400 kV Substation Department: Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Location: North GOA Reporting To: Shift In-Charge / Substation Manager Position Summary: The Shift Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of a 400 kV substation during their assigned shift. This includes monitoring and controlling substation equipment, ensuring adherence to operational and safety protocols, coordinating with Load Dispatch Centers (SLDC/RLDC), and responding effectively to system disturbances, alarms, and faults. Key Responsibilities: 1.
