Lead Design Verification Engineer

Minimum Qualifications

  1. 10+ years of 

    Design Verification

     experience.
  2. Strong understanding of 

    design concepts and ASIC flow

    .
  3. Proven experience in 

    IP, Subsystem, and SoC verification

    .
  4. Excellent 

    SystemVerilog/UVM coding

     skills.
  5. Strong knowledge of 

    RAL (Register Abstraction Layer)

    .
  6. Hands-on experience with 

    third-party VIP integration

    .
  7. Strong 

    analytical, problem-solving, and debugging

     skills.
  8. In-depth understanding of 

    AMBA protocols

      AXI, APB, AHB.
  9. Verification experience in 

    low-speed peripherals

    : I2C, SPI, QSPI, DMA, Interrupt Controller, GPIO, UART.
  10. Experience in 

    high-speed protocols

    : PCIe, CXL, Ethernet, or USB.
  11. Experience in 

    memory protocols

    : DDR, LPDDR, or HBM.
  12. Proficiency in 

    verification tools

    : VCS, Xcelium, Waveform analyzers, third-party VIPs.
  13. Hands-on with 

    revision control systems

    : Git, SVN, Perforce.
  14. Experience with 

    GLS (Gate-Level Simulation)

     and 

    Power-aware Simulation (UPF)

    .
  15. Proven 

    leadership experience

      guiding, mentoring, and managing verification teams.
  16. Ability to ensure effective 

    collaboration and communication

     across teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop 

    testbench components

     (Driver, Monitor, Scoreboard) from scratch or enhance existing environments for IP, Subsystem, or SoC.
  2. Understand design specifications and define the 

    overall verification strategy

    .
  3. Create 

    testbench micro-architecture

    test plans

    , and 

    coverage plans

    .
  4. Define verification scope and establish 

    verification infrastructure

     to ensure design correctness.
  5. Implement 

    SystemVerilog assertions

     and 

    functional coverage

    .
  6. Analyze 

    code and functional coverage

     to close verification gaps.
  7. Collaborate with other verification engineers to 

    develop, execute, and debug

     complex test cases.
  8. Work closely with 

    architects, designers, and pre-/post-silicon verification teams

     to meet project timelines.
  9. Coordinate with 

    customer leads

     and manage deliverables, quality, and milestones.
  10. Act as the 

    verification point of contact

    , driving 

    signoff ownership

     and reporting progress.
