Job Description

SUMMARY

Responsibilities:

Ensure consistent plant availability through flexible staffing and operational readiness.
Operate overhead cranes in compliance with safety and operational specifications.
Prepare, operate, and safely tap electric arc furnaces to achieve optimal melting and production outcomes.
Manage ladle furnace operations to properly prepare metal charges for continuous casting.
Inspect refractory linings and prepare ladles for tapping, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
Prepare casting strands at the continuous casting line according to established procedures.

Requirements

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in steel production, metalworking, rolling mills, or foundry operations
Demonstrated knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and equipment operation
Proven ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to recurring operational workflows
Physically fit and capable of performing demanding tasks in a high-temperature, industrial environment
