Job Description

SUMMARY

Steel Fixer Job Opportunity
Responsibilities:

Interpret engineering and architectural drawings to determine accurate rebar placement and layout.
Fabricate, cut, and bend rebar using rebar cutters, benders, and grinders with precision.
Position and secure reinforcement using wire ties, spacers, and structural supports.
Verify correct spacing, alignment, and coverage to meet design and structural specifications.
Coordinate closely with concrete pouring teams to ensure timely and accurate reinforcement setup.
Operate hand tools and machinery, including hydraulic benders, angle grinders, and power saws.

Requirements

Requirements:

Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
Minimum 0.6 months of experience as a Steel Fixer required.
Hands-on experience with rebar cutters, benders, and grinders.
Solid understanding of reinforcement placement techniques and structural requirements.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team, especially with concrete and construction crews.
Familiarity with the safe operation of hand tools and power equipment.
