I. Basic Mission The Location Head will be responsible for maintaining and driving operational results for Hyderabad,India plant. The Location Head as a senior executive will be responsible for overseeing the Planning, Production, Materials Management, Quality, Technology & Engineering of the organization. The incumbent will partner with the apex board and work collaboratively with a high-performance management team to develop long term strategies while focussing on systematic goal achievement through operations best practices. II. Main responsibilities · Provide management to staff and leadership to the organization that aligns with the company’s business plan and overall strategic vision. · Working in partnership with the Function Heads creates the strategic operation’s five-year plan and implement new processes and approaches to achieve it. · Develop and execute the annual operations/manufacturing plan (AOP) to deliver the business objectives (production volume, manufacturing controlled cost, quality, productivity, safety, engineering, customer specific requirements, equipment maintenance & efficiencies, etc. · Establish and document procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and company quality standards. · Develops policies and procedures to ensure safety, as well as produced products within budget guidelines and quality standards. · To work towards resource and raw material optimization while maintaining highest quality standards · Prepare and submit an annual operational budget, manage effectively within this budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered · Ensure the continued financial viability of the company’s operational units through sound fiscal management · Ensures continuous improvement and modernization initiatives are implemented to give the company state of the art manufacturing facility · Ensure complete compliance to prescribed QMS, ISO, OHSAS, certification and environment processes and standards · Develop and implement a system for tracking and reporting on the progress of the strategic plan implementation including technology up gradation, process improvement, Productivity enhancement, Inventory control etc. · Reviews, analyzes, and prepares reports, records, and directives, and confers with managers / supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered · Develop, produce & present monthly or at the desired frequency, MIS and other related reports for the Management Board from the operational perspective · Ensures availability of people, resources, equipment and supplies to run seamless production process for meeting an organization's manufacturing goals. This includes scheduling all related staff such as production workers, engineers and quality control technicians. Also coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedure for all production operations. · Provide for all staff a strong day-to-day leadership presence. · Establish individual accountability using coaching and support and performance management process. · Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and commitment to quality · Foster a growth oriented, positive and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures and guidelines. · Initiate and coordinate major projects, (e.g., plant layout changes, installation of capital equipment, major repairs, etc.). III. Relationships · Hierarchy: Reporting to the MD and Supervisory Board IV. Key Performance Factors Core competencies · Deep experience in program budgeting and fiscal management. · Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, ISO, API and other quality certifications · Knowledge of Plant production, Materials and Vendor management · Track record of effectively leading a direct service organize with a complex array of programs with the ability to leverage strengths across program areas; excellent project management skills. · Analytic and decisive decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate to staff key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals. · Ability to point to specific examples of having led organizational transformation projects and program development · Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization V.
