About this Role

This role is responsible for providing subject matter expertise in local labour law compliance and ensuring adherence to employment regulations. The individual will act as the primary point of contact for all Employee Relations (ER) activities, with a strong focus on managing investigations and grievance processes. The position requires close collaboration with HR Business Partners, Legal, Corporate Security, and HR Operations to ensure timely and objective investigation closures, compliance execution, and risk mitigation. A key objective is to eliminate non-compliance and safeguard Vodafone from labour-related legal obligations.

What you will do

Employment Compliance

  • Ensure 100% compliance for the organisation, employees, and contractors, achieving zero non-compliance.
  • Execute periodic compliance actions through HR Operations or designated compliance partners.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly compliance audits for employees and contractors.
  • Publish monthly compliance dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
  • Monitor compliance vendors regularly using performance metrics.
  • Maintain and update compliance tools and systems.
  • Manage digital signatures and approvals for PF and employment contracts.

Employee Relations

  • Deliver employee relations services in line with quality, timing, cost targets, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in ER policies, practices, and procedures, benchmarking against external best practices.

Grievance and Speak-Up Management

  • Partner with Corporate Security to ensure all HR actions related to investigations are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Document and share investigation outcomes with relevant stakeholders.
  • Own all HR actions for speak-ups and investigations, ensuring transparency and compliance.
