Job Description

Senior Consultant

consulting engagement of 150–180 hours over 2–3 months (8–10 weeks)

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand & Messaging Alignment:

    Develop value-based messaging highlighting core strengths such as affordability, transfer pathways, and statewide/national reach.

  • Enrollment Funnel Design:

    Map the inquiry → application → matriculation journey, configuring workflows in Slate CRM or similar (Salesforce, Ellucian Recruit).

  • Channel Strategy & Campaign Planning:

    Recommend spend allocations across paid search, social, employer/community partnerships, and earned media; build 12-month campaign calendars aligned to course launches.

  • Analytics & KPIs:

    Define metrics (CPI, Conversion %, Yield) and create real-time performance dashboards to optimize campaigns.

Preferred Profile

  • Experience:

    10–15+ years in higher ed enrollment marketing, ideally at a

    university system level

    or as a

    consultant serving public universities

    .

  • Technical Expertise:

    Proficiency with

    Slate CRM, Salesforce, Ellucian Recruit, HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, and web analytics tools

    .

  • Deliverable Orientation:

    Ability to produce

    Messaging Playbooks, Funnel Blueprints, Marketing Plans, and Campaign Dashboards

    .

  • Data-Driven Mindset:

    Proven ability to measure ROI and optimize media spend.
