1 The Materials Corrosion Engineer is a part of Materials Corrosion team within the Materials Equipment Quality (MEQ) chapter at the Chevron ENGINE and is responsible for providing metallurgy, corrosion, failure analysis, welding, coatings, non-metallics and cathodic protection consulting services to Chevron Upstream and Midstream Business Units and Capital Projects, to ensure reliability and integrity of piping, equipment, structures, and pipelines.
