Job Description

Job Summary:

The Head of Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing and leading the overall talent acquisition strategy to attract, hire, and retain top talent across the organization. This leader will manage a team of recruiters and partner with executive leadership to understand workforce needs, promote employer branding, and ensure a seamless and scalable recruitment process aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and execute a long-term talent acquisition strategy aligned with the companys growth and diversity goals.
    • Partner with senior leadership to forecast hiring needs and build scalable talent pipelines.
  • Team Management:

    • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team.
    • Set KPIs and performance metrics for the recruitment team.
  • Process & Technology:

    • Oversee the recruitment lifecycle and continuously optimize processes for efficiency and candidate experience.
    • Leverage technology (e.g., ATS, CRM) to drive data-informed hiring decisions.
  • Employer Branding:

    • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to build and promote a compelling employer brand.
    • Represent the company at external recruiting and branding events (career fairs, conferences, etc.).
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI):

    • Implement inclusive hiring practices and ensure diverse talent pipelines.
    • Monitor DEI metrics related to hiring and recruitment.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and hiring managers.
    • Ensure alignment between recruitment goals and overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling recruitment teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting tools, platforms, and emerging hiring trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive organizational change.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in employer branding and recruitment marketing
  • Familiarity with global recruitment practices (if international hiring is involved)
  • Data analytics and dashboard/reporting skills
  • Experience working in tech, healthcare, finance, or [insert industry]

  • Time-to-hire and cost-per-hire improvements
  • Candidate experience (NPS scores, feedback)
  • Diversity hiring ratios
  • Offer acceptance and retention rates
  • Hiring manager satisfaction
