Role overview

Staff Uno is a next-generation workforce solutions vertical under MSM Unify, focused on outcome-driven workforce creation and deployment rather than traditional training or recruitment. The Head – Staff Uno will build this vertical from the ground up, integrating global workforce mobility, India-focused Train & Deploy programs, and IT/digital upskilling into one unified business. This is a pure 01 builder role with full commercial and execution ownership, targeting employer-paid, deployment-led workforce outcomes.

Strategic objective

Design, launch, and scale a unified workforce solutions platform that converts employer demand into structured hiring, training, and deployment programs, delivers Train & Deploy outcomes in India, enables IT and digital workforce upskilling, and supports international workforce mobility and deployment. Success is measured by signed employer contracts, revenue generation, training-to-employment outcomes, and repeat enterprise demand.

1. Workforce mobility & global deployment

• Lead employer-driven international hiring mandates and cross-border manpower deployment.
• Build corridor-based mobility models (e.g., India–UAE, India–Europe) with end-to-end compliance, documentation, and deployment readiness.

2. Train & Deploy (India-focused)

• Design demand-led Train & Deploy programs aligned to employer needs with corporate and institutional partners.
• Ensure training is job-linked and outcome-first, owning placement and deployment post-training.

3. IT training & workforce upskilling

• Develop IT and digital skill offerings aligned to employer hiring, workforce transformation, and institutional capacity building.
• Focus on job readiness, skill validation, productivity, and fully commercial (employer/enterprise-funded) models.

Key responsibilities

1. Vertical creation (01)

• Define Staff Uno’s business thesis, scope, and operating model.
• Integrate workforce mobility, training, and deployment into one cohesive platform and prioritize high-impact sectors (IT, healthcare, hospitality, infrastructure, logistics, etc.).

2. Employer & enterprise commercial ownership

• Acquire employer and enterprise contracts for hiring & deployment, Train & Deploy, and workforce upskilling.
• Own pricing, commercials, SLAs, and revenue realization, avoiding free pilots unless strategically approved.

3. Talent supply, training & fulfillment

• Build scalable talent pipelines and design role-linked training programs.
• Drive high training-to-deployment conversion while balancing speed, quality, compliance, and cost.

4. Deployment, governance & compliance

• Own end-to-end execution across training delivery, placement, deployment, compliance, and documentation.
• Lead operations and delivery teams and establish governance frameworks to support scale.

5. Team & system building

• Hire and develop commercial, training, and operations leaders.
• Build repeatable, scalable delivery systems that reduce dependency on individuals.

Leadership expectations

• Strong builder mindset with sharp commercial judgment and comfort navigating regulatory, training, and deployment complexity.
• Ability to operate across India and international markets with founder-level ownership and minimal escalation; not suited for training-only, recruitment-only, or non-revenue-focused program managers.

Ideal candidate profile

• Experience in workforce solutions, staffing, Train & Deploy, or enterprise training.
• Proven exposure to employer contracting and execution with demonstrated 01 or early-scale leadership.
• Ability to integrate training with employment and deployment outcomes, with strong execution, governance, and commercial discipline.
