Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors
Localization
Vendor development
Negotiations & contracts
Import Purchase
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers
Monitor and assess supplier performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of sourced components and materials.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Lead and mentor a team of sourcing and vendor development professionals

Skill-Set Requirements

Significant experience in high-volume production environments.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles, practices, and tools.
Ability to analyze data, develop insights, and make strategic decisions.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Passion for sustainability and the renewable energy industry.
