Job Description

SUMMARY

Process design, develop, validate, implement and maintain production systems and processes according to operational, quality and cost requirements.
Drive functional excellence and continuous improvement activities for quality, cycle times, process improvement, and machine availability using lean techniques and value engineering.
Plan and oversee manufacturing projects, including equipment layout, process flow, capital investment, and project milestones.
Analyze and improve material usage, productivity, throughput, and equipment utilization.
Lead automation initiatives for new and existing programs, ensuring robust technical solutions and successful project outcomes.
Define and review manufacturing process KPIs regularly and report project status to reporting executive.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across all manufacturing operations.
Lead, mentor, and develop the process engineering team, ensuring team capability growth and professional development
Hands on experience in APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SOP and Process capability establishment is preferred

Requirements

Strong management, leadership, and mentoring skills in manufacturing engineering.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and process optimization.
A nalytical and problem-solving skills to eliminate bottlenecks and optimize production flow.
Excellent communication abilities for working cross-functionally with design, production, and management teams.
B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
12 17 years of experience in manufacturing / process engineering (automotive sector preferred).
Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Lean manufacturing tools.
Hands-on experience in process improvement and automation.
