The company has been working across 10+ years, developing multiple technologies for chemical recycling of low-grade waste plastics . PolyCycl's flagship technology enables conversion of low-grade plastics to high-value hydrocarbon oils , using a differentiated and patented fully-continuous pyrolysis process. Such hydrocarbon oils have been evaluated and qualified by global petrochemical and technology majors for the manufacturing of low-carbon plastics that are identical to plastics manufactured conventionally from fossil resources. The technology paves the way for a plastic-to-plastic circular economy , where waste plastics such as flexible packaging films, single-use polythene bags, ketchup bottles with food residues, etc., can be recycled endlessly in a closed loop to manufacture new polymer resins. PolyCycl is one of the few companies in the world today that has developed a patented, fully-continuous process architecture for the conversion process. The continuous process architecture enables CapEx reduction of up to 50% versus incumbent offerings and high project EBITDAs of 40-65% . 8 international patent grants.
