Job Purpose: To drive strategic business growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining high-value relationships in the pharmaceutical distribution sector, ensuring increased market share, revenue growth, and long-term client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the companys footprint in retail, hospital, and institutional segments. • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and product lines to increase revenue streams. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, suppliers, manufacturers, and channel partners. • Conduct market research to track industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. • Negotiate and finalise contracts with clients, vendors, and strategic partners. • Work closely with the sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of new business initiatives. • Lead presentations, proposals, and tenders for prospective clients. • Monitor business performance against set targets and take corrective actions when required. • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to promote the brand. • Ensure compliance with all pharma regulatory requirements and company policies. Skills & Competencies: • Proven track record in business development in the pharma distribution sector. • Strong leadership, negotiation, and networking skills. • Excellent communication and presentation abilities. • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and business analytics tools. Qualification: • Graduate / Postgraduate in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or related field. • MBA in Sales/Marketing (preferred). Reporting To: • Chief Operating Officer Salary: • As per industry standards, commensurate with experience.
