Job Description

Responsibilities of Head / Associate Director– Performance Marketing


• Oversee intake and execution workflow for digital marketing and lead generation activities in partnership with cross-functional internal stakeholders

• Analyze and interpret data to drive decision-making and optimize campaign performance.

• Generate leads from every possible source while controlling overall ROI and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department

• Track, report and optimize key business metrics across different channels using a variety of tools

• Researching and analyzing performance drivers to improve future campaign profitability/growth and contributing towards yearly marketing budgets, KPIs and sales forecasts

• Managing budgets and campaigns across all digital channels to drive strong return on investment and efficient CAC and ROAS

• End-to-end coordination with partner media agencies for successful deployment of campaigns.

• Responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing performance-based marketing campaigns across various online platforms

• Ensuring successful planning, execution, and optimization for key traffic KPIs via paid, organic & own media channels

• Implementing marketing automation and lead generation strategies

• Have managed the budgets of at least 20 crores per annum

• Staying updated with the latest performance marketing trends and technologies

• Achieve company sales targets using paid marketing channels:

o Google : Search, YouTube, AdWords, GDN, GDC, Pmax, Affiliates, Bing

o Meta – Reach, Awareness and conversion, re-targeting o Social : Facebook, Instagram

o Education Portals – Shiksha, College Dekho, Career 360, Get my Uni & Others

• Obsessive focus on on-page conversion, CPM, CPC, cost of acquisition and ROAS

• Lead video content marketing using creatives, audiences, A/B tests

• Build cross-platform FUNNELS to implement retargeting strategies


Education & Skills


1. BCA/ MCA, BTech from Top tier University

2. 10-15 years of brand experience in Agency, Edtech, FMCG, Banking, Airlines, Travel and other service-oriented industries

3. Strong background and experience in lead generation, tech stack, API Integration

4. Excellent analytical, creative, strategic, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure, handle multiple projects, and adapt to changes.

5. Outstanding leadership, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for customer acquisition.

6. ROAS and ROMI driven mindset
