Job Description

Role Overview: As a Sales Head North America at Illumine-i, you will be responsible for spearheading revenue growth, leading business development, and managing sales operations for the US and Canadian markets. Your role will involve traveling to the US and Canada for key events, client meetings, and partnerships. Combining strategic leadership with hands-on business development, you will ensure that Illumine-i is positioned as a trusted engineering partner across energy sectors. Key Responsibilities: - Own annual and quarterly revenue targets for North America. - Drive new business acquisition while expanding existing accounts. - Build senior-level relationships with EPCs, developers, utilities, and strategic partners. - Manage sales operations, reporting, forecasting, and CRM discipline. - Lead, mentor, and scale the sales team aligned to North America. - Develop and enforce structured sales processes and KPIs. - Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. - Identify and target key opportunities in Solar, BESS, and EV infrastructure. - Attend industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and lead flow. - Lead high-value negotiations and close strategic contracts. - Ensure exceptional customer experience through alignment with engineering teams. - Position Illumine-i as a strategic partner, not just a vendor. - Collaborate with Marketing and Demand Generation for lead campaigns. - Work with Delivery/Engineering to align solutions with client requirements. - Provide market insights to leadership for strategy refinement. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and Master's in Business or related field (MBA preferred). - Proven progressive sales experience, with 5+ years in leadership. - Demonstrated track record of achieving multi-million-dollar revenue targets. - Experience in renewable energy, engineering services, or CleanTech markets is an advantage. - Strong business development and deal-closing skills. - Familiarity with the North American energy market landscape is a plus. - Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. - Willingness to travel internationally for client meetings and events.
